Pick up by boat in Papagayo
We offer boat pickup from all Papagayo fishing resorts. However, our boats are stationed in Playas del Coco, Tamarindo, Hermosa, Flamingo Beach, Samara, and El Jobo in La Cruz, Costa Rica. We can assist you with all the logistics for a fishing charter, including renting a suitable boat for your group, arranging fishing licenses, arranging private transportation, or arranging beach pickup. What does beach picking up by boat mean?
Our experienced captain and friendly mate will be eagerly awaiting your arrival at the beautiful beach in front of your hotel, condo, or house to provide you with our exclusive shore pick-up service using our reliable dinghy. In some cases, we are delighted to offer this service free of charge as part of our commitment to providing exceptional customer service. However, if your pick-up location is a considerable distance away, we may need to charge additional fees to cover the extra travel costs.

Captain Jose and first mate Kaylen were absolutely amazing on our half day sport fishing trip on the 33ft Second Wind. They made us feel welcomed and provided so much good information about the surrounding area. The fruit platter and fresh guacamole made by Kaylen was amazing. My family (wife and two teenage daughters) was very impressed with entire experience since this was their first offshore fishing trip. We did get into a school of Sailfish at the very end!! We had 4 on at one time and eventually landed 2 beautiful larger 2.5meter sailfish after a quick 15min fight. Hard to capture in words what a fantastic trip we had with Capt Gerardo on the billfish. We were picked up on the beach at our hotel which was so convenient. They had us fishing within an hour and we were landing some great catches - grouper (red and black) snapper, mahi mahi and even a sailfish. The crew - Benjamin, David, and Dario - were great hosts and were patiently helping us to catch the fish. David even whipped up a fresh grouper ceviche while on board from one of our catches. Crew was great about explaining some of the landmarks and history and constantly making sure we were good throughout.
