Samara Inshore Fishing
Target species: Roosterfish, snapper, jacks, grouper, snook, mackerel.
Most inshore trips last about four to five hours and stay near the coast, moving around rocky areas and reefs.
Samara Offshore Fishing
Target species: Sailfish, marlin (blue, black, striped), mahi-mahi (dorado), yellowfin tuna, wahoo.
Full-day trips venture farther out into the deeper waters of the Pacific.

Peak Billfish Season: December to April
Roosterfish & Snapper: Good year-round, but best November–August
Tuna & Dorado: Also found year-round, often best in rainy season (May–November)
