Our half-day inshore fishing charters are perfect for those who want to experience the stunning coastline of Guanacaste, Costa Rica. We take you fishing in the Gulf of Papagayo, a renowned worldwide fishing destination that targets a variety of fish, including mahi-mahi, roosterfish, bonitos, red snapper, jacks, amberjack, grouper, and more. Our inshore fishing charters are 4 hours long, from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Inshore Fishing Charters Highlight
All fishing charters depart at 7:30 AM, but we can do it earlier at the client’s request!
Charter duration: 4 hours (7:30 a.m. – 11:30 p.m.).
Rates are per boat and not per person.
Check the # of people per boat on the boat info.
Some boats can take extra persons for $100 pp
Charters include: Ballyhoo or live bait when possible, fishing equipment, snacks, bottled water, ice bags, fresh fruits, soft drinks, local beer, juice, Catch cleaning & filleting, and lunch on full-day charters.
When should I book?
To ensure availability, it is recommended that you book as soon as possible, particularly during the holidays.

Hard to capture in words what a fantastic trip we had with Capt Gerardo on the billfish. We were picked up on the beach at our hotel which was so convenient. They had us fishing within an hour and we were landing some great catches - grouper (red and black) snapper, mahi mahi and even a sailfish. The crew - Benjamin, David, and Dario - were great hosts and were patiently helping us to catch the fish. David even whipped up a fresh grouper ceviche while on board from one of our catches. Crew was great about explaining some of the landmarks and history and constantly making sure we were good throughout.
