This a second charter with our customer and friend Erick Goldman. His first charter was on July 21st and had a blast, 3 sailfish and 2 mahi mahi! Billfish Fishing in Papagayo Costa Rica
Billfish fishing in papagayo have been so good last weeks, we have more than 10 releases in a week. We went our from Secrets papagayo resort. You have to know we provide boat beach pick up from all major resort around the Gulf of papagayo area. Joseph gave us a last minute call to hire a full day charter. The Freedom2 boat was available for Joseph, he invited 3 friends to share with him on board. Captain Ever took them to the north of the Gulf of papagayo, at the end of the day they caught and released 2 sailfish.
Marlin Fishing in Costa Rica
We went out from Playa hermosa beach, we picked up Chris and his son at the meeting point in front of Bosque del Mar resort at 7:30 a.m. Chris booked our prime Tuna Fish boat for a offshore charter looking for billfish. Captain Misael took them to the north looking for some action, around 10 am first sailfish landed. Some hours later we caught a black marlin, Chris fought several hours with the fishing rod. It was an amazing billfish fishing day, crew did their best job to put a fish on our client hands. At the end of the day we caught and released 3 sailfish and 1 black marlin.

Playa hermosa Offshore fishing
Today we went out from Playa hermosa beach with a group of 4 people. Erick Goldman booked our Tuna Fish boat for his family to spend a nice day on the water of the Gulf of papagayo looking for some fishing action. Captain Misael took them to the south of the Catalinas’s islands. They hooked up 3 nice sailfish and 2 nice size mahi mahi. Sailfish fishing have been good last days, clean water, calm winds and no rain at all. So if you want to book a charter this is the time!

Sailfish fishing Secrets papagayo
Our client Adam Hart booked our Tuna Fish boat looking for some fun at the Gulf of papagayo. We departed from Secrets papagayo resort for a 8 hrs off shore trip. it was an amazing day!! Fishing have been excellent looking for sailfish and mahi mahi. They caught 2 mahi mahi and 2 sailfish at the end of the day.

Riu Guanacaste Resort – Inshore fishing
Last minute charter from Riu Guanacaste resort, Greg booked the Tuna Fish for an inshore charter for his family. He was looking a charter for their kids, so captain Nelson decided go to the middle of the gulf of papagayo as result they caught 7 mahi mahi, 1 bonito and 1 roosterfish. This family was so happy with the boat’s crew, they helped kids in all moments and teaches them how to use the tackle and rod.
