Tuna Fish - 30ft
The tuna fish is a 30ft Phoenix tournament yacht with seating for two crew members and five fishermen. It is a proud member of the Tuna Fish Sportfishing fleet which features the latest technology in electronics. This boat is powered by a 450hp Cummins engine, giving a top speed of 27 mph and a cruise speed of 22mph. It has ample space, a toilet, a cabin, and a padded bed.
The Phoenix is a great fishing platform and perfect for your Papagayo, Costa Rica fishing charter. The diesel power and hull design with prop pockets combine to provide a great ride. It is a very efficient package and has the range to go offshore. This vessel is built for long-range high-speed runs to get you to the Papagayo Gulf offshore fish fast.
Nelson Méndez is an experienced captain working for more than 35 years in the charter fishing business from the north of the Gulf of Papagayo, Costa Rica to the Central Pacific coast of Costa Rica.
Things you should pack are sunscreen, towels, and a camera. Snacks and drinks are provided on the half-day trips, while the 3/4-day and the full-day trip even include lunch. You’ll also need to get a fishing license prior to departure, but this can easily be accomplished online.
Now, all you have to do is find an opening in the captain’s calendar, book a trip that suits you the most, and start getting excited about your adventure in the Pacific.
*Rates are based on the whole boat not per person.
If it is unsafe to travel, you may still cancel free of charge or change the date(s) of your booking.
